This morning as I left my driveway to go work, I could see that the sunrise sky was going to be spectacular. I decided on the spot to travel along the coastal road rather than my usual highway route to give myself a treat. Below are a few photos I took along the way. The cove photo above was taken near 6pm on my way back home. Click on it to enlarge to enjoy the autumn colours.

There's something about this view that really draws me in. I've been wanting to photograph it for at least a year, but there isn't a really good place to stand and do that. This will probably be the first in many photos I take here.

You may have noticed that this hasn't been a daily blog in awhile. I'm a teacher and I always find the beginning weeks of school simply exhausting. Many mornings I'm on the run & can't take for a photo. Many evenings I'm not home until after dark. I'll still get to the cove often enough to view the incremental changes. In the meantime, I'm really enjoying catching interesting skyscapes on my way to work. Below is one from this morning.

It's Thanksgiving Day (Columbus Day for my US of A friends) and a beauty here in Hubbards, Nova Scotia. I'm thankful for family & friends, near & far. I am thankful to live near the ocean with big skies to view everyday. My next blog might have to be about skies. Below is a photo taken looking up my driveway on this Thanksgiving morning.

Both of these photos were taken early this morning. The one below was taken on my morning commute. It was taken through the wind shield, one handed, while going 100kph. Not bad, huh? It's probably a good thing the comment feature on blogger isn't working.
